I have double this joy for this november as Diwali is falling right after my B’day Nov7th.
So, what do you remember when you think of Deepavali? Pattas, Tappas, Lakshmi Vedi, Laddu, Boiler, Mullu Murukku, Seyakkai, Marundhu, New Jeans, Rajini’s pudhu padam, Mathaappu a.k.a Susuravathi, Rockets, Patti Mandram, Pottu Cape. Which one comes first?
I have amazing memoirs of all that is listed above. I love to keep talking about Deepavali as I enjoyed it during my childhood. You cannot walk in Tngr,Pursawalkkam, parrys you will be literally jampacked in the mass.
For this year,
RMKV Silks has come out with a new silk saree Nagasu… It’s banner are spread all over Chennai. The one in Gemini flyover is the best of all. You can also see a huge crowd at this place which is none other than POTHYS. They have created a brand name with all the fame starts in Kollywood. But frankly it’s little pricy compared to other silk outlets in T.ngr. Nalli Silks the oldest one in town and seems to be crowded throughout the year. Only in They are the best designed Pallu for their Pattu Pudavai. Kumaran Stores is also the cheapest one but they keep different varities all times.Aanju Maadi Kumaran is the second shop they had opened. But for all you see in T.ngr saravana selvarathinam and chennai silks are the cheapest in price and good in quality. They have sarees even below Rs.100. So have lots of shopping this Deepavali and enjoy the festival of lights.
