Recommend referencing case studies and live examples of our past projects to provide clients with confidence in our HTML/CSS skills. Live examples are powerful and can help garner excitement with clients. As far as documentation goes, I attached a DHTML guide for the Janus project put together a while back — It outlines the basic HTML and CSS structure used on that project. The intended audience was for JSP developers, but it is user-friendly enough to help set your client’s mind at ease. Since Janus had many instances of tabular data, I chose this document as an example so your client can see how tables are properly coded within a tableless CSS layout. You can see the live site this document references here: PS: Please check with Legal (or Mark W.) before sharing with your client — you may have to remove all references to Janus from this document. (Janus normally lets us reference them so I don’t think there are any restrictions, but always good to be safe).
